Microsoft Fabric Consultant (Frontend & Backend) £450 per day | Outside IR35 Initial 3-Month Contract | Rolling Extensions Mostly Remote | UK Travel Required SC Clearance Required (Active or Held Within Last 12 Months) We're partnering with a leading Microsoft Partner seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Consultant to support a range of enterprise client engagements. This role requires a consultant who can operate across the full Microsoft Fabric stack, combining strong backend data engineering expertise with frontend Power BI development and stakeholder engagement skills. Responsibilities Design, build and optimise end-to-end solutions within Microsoft Fabric. Develop and maintain Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines and Dataflows. Build scalable data ingestion and transformation processes using Fabric and related Azure technologies. Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models. Create complex DAX measures and data models to support business reporting requirements. Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Support Fabric migrations, platform enhancements and best practice implementation. Provide guidance on data architecture, governance, performance optimisation and reporting strategy. Required Experience Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric. Experience across both backend data engineering and frontend BI/reporting. Advanced Power BI development skills including DAX, data modelling and semantic models. Experience building Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions. Strong SQL skills. Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Databricks experience beneficial. Previous consultancy or client-facing experience. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Security Requirements Active SC Clearance highly desirable. Candidates who have held SC Clearance within the last 12 months will also be considered.
