Lead PMO Manager - £675 per day - 6 Month Contract Rate: Up to £675 per day IR35: Inside Location: Hybrid - London, Manchester or Bristol Clearance: SC Cleared The Role A leading Central Government organisation is seeking an experienced Lead PMO Manager to establish and lead a newly formed PMO function, driving governance, strategic planning and portfolio delivery across a high-profile digital transformation programme. You will define PMO strategy, oversee project governance, business cases, resource planning and quality assurance, ensuring delivery aligns with organisational priorities. Experience & Requirements Proven experience leading PMOs across large, complex programmes or portfolios. Strong background establishing PMO governance, frameworks and delivery standards. Experience developing business cases, Statements of Work (SoWs) and portfolio reporting. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change. Experience with resource planning, portfolio management and continuous improvement. Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring PMO teams and developing capability. Government or large-scale digital transformation experience is highly desirable.
