This is a people-first Engineering Manager role with no expectation to be hands-on day-to-day. You'll lead, coach and develop a talented engineering team while partnering with Product and the CTO to deliver an ambitious product roadmap in a fast-paced, collaborative SaaS environment. What You'll Do Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team through coaching and career development. Own engineering delivery, from sprint planning and backlog refinement through to successful release. Partner with Product and the CTO to scope work, prioritise delivery and manage technical risks. Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, collaboration and ways of working. Play a key role in hiring, interviewing and growing the engineering team. Champion AI-enabled engineering tools and modern software development practices. What We're Looking For Proven experience leading software engineering teams in a SaaS or product-led environment. Strong delivery and stakeholder management skills with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) experience. A passion for developing people and building high-performing engineering cultures. Experience hiring and scaling engineering teams. An advocate of AI-assisted engineering, with an interest in embedding AI tools and workflows across the software development lifecycle.
