Provide targeted support to children needing extra help to access their lessons. Supervise children during outdoor playtime, lunch breaks, and on educational school trips. Log student progress observations and report insights directly to the teaching team. Requirements for the Role Practical experience working alongside children (school, nursery, coaching, or volunteering). Good standard of literacy and numeracy (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above). A patient, proactive, and energetic approach to supporting children of all backgrounds. A valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to apply for a new one). Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
