BI Analyst (Training Specialist / Looker Gemini) Banking Hybrid: 2 days per week in Bristol Initially until end of year £600 per day In short: We require a strong BI Analyst with experience of Google Looker Gemini to train our colleagues resulting in accreditation. In full: Purpose of the Role Design and scale the enterprise capability model for Looker and Looker Gemini (GenBI) , ensuring colleagues have the skills, tools and accreditation needed to adopt, build and scale GenBI in a federated operating model . This will enable the organisation to scale GenBI , without creating dependency on central teams. Key Accountabilities Learning Strategy & Training Ecosystem Integrate Looker learning pathways within our AI Academy for different personas (Builder, User, Enabler, Leader) and align to our BI & Analytics job families Stand up and integrate the learning ecosystem , including: Self-Serve Learning Portal Virtual Classroom learning Hands-on labs and sandbox environments Playbook and training standards Accreditation & Capability Framework Design and implement a formal accreditation model , including: required learning pathways competency thresholds certification routes Align accreditation to roles (e.g. Builder readiness) and delivery eligibility Enable Federated Capability Support business domains to: build internal GenBI capability embed trained builders into teams adopt train the trainer Reduce reliance on CoE by enabling self-service learning and federated delivery capability Key Deliverables (2026) Integrated GenBI learning pathways (AI Academy aligned) Google Learning Portal integrated into pathways Labs / sandbox capability operational Formal accreditation model defined and launched Success Criteria (End of 2026) Learning pathways are actively used, not optional Colleagues can self-serve training A pipeline of accredited GenBI practitioners is established Skills are measured and managed as a capability Domains begin to deliver GenBI with reduced central dependency Profile & Experience Strong experience in: enterprise learning / capability building digital or data transformation programmes Experience designing: role-based learning pathways accreditation / certification models Familiar with: Google Cloud tooling - Looker and BigQuery (desirable) GenAI / AI literacy programmes (desirable) Strong stakeholder engagement across: HR / L&D technology teams business domains Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.
